Perhaps, we could argue even more due to the fact that modern life brings with it many different challenges to our physical and mental health.
Most of us lead a very sedentary life in offices, on the computer or travelling around in vehicles. This generally means that our body doesnt move around the way it needs to, creating aches and pains, weaknesses and injury. Making slight changes to your daily routines can really make a difference to your bodies fitness and flexibility. Finding the time and space in your day to practice yoga will also bring positive changes.
Lisa is a healing yoga teacher trained by a yoga alliance registered school. Her passion for yoga began in 2015 while trying to find a healing solution for her bad back. Lisa’s classes are focused on creating a healing environment for those going through an illness, recovering from surgery, living with a chronic condition or are simply looking to increase their mobility using yoga. The classes are also preventative in nature, helping students to improve their strength, balance and flexibility.
When thinking about health and wellbeing we often think first about our body and our physical health. Yet, our mental health is equally important. Meditation offers us the opportunity to rest our mind. In the western world this is something we seem to find difficult to justify allocating time to. Meditation offers us a tool to access the quiet and peaceful space within our head so that we can recharge our batteries and feel rejuvenated.
Lisa is a qualified meditation teacher and Yoga Nidra teacher. Her classes are aimed at all levels of students and offer the opportunity to practice different types of meditation styles.
Health and wellbeing begins in our subtle energy system. Emotional pain and difficult experiences can sit within these layers of energy and disrupt energy flow. If our natural flow of energy remains in this disrupted state then this can eventually culminate in actual physical and mental pain. Working with the flow of energy in and around the body cultivates a natural environment for self healing and natural wellness
Lisa has a VTCT qualification in Crystal therapy and is a Reiki master teacher and provides treatments and teachings in both Reiki and Crystal Therapy.
